Our three high-speed SMT lines are configured with DEK Horizon Screen Printers, Fuji SMT Placement machines (CP-642, Fuji IP-3, Fuji XP-1, XP-2, and XP-3), and electrovert Reflow Ovens. Kodiak Assembly Solutions has the capability to provide high-precision SMT solutions that are not only reliable but also efficient and cost-effective.
Wave Soldering Equipment:
Kodiak Assembly supports both Sn/Pb and RoHS-compliant wave soldering on separate dedicated lines. Mini-Pot selective soldering equipment, and DI water wash system ensure proper assembly and cleaning of electronic components for the highest level of reliability and performance.
X-ray Inspection: Ensuring Quality and Reliability
X-ray inspection is a critical component in maintaining process control, and ensuring the highest level of quality on leadless devices. BGA Rework and Reball Stations
Leadless devices require specialized hot-air rework equipment to safely remove and replace the packages without compromising the circuit assembly. Kodiak’s Hot-Air rework stations can handle a range of BGA and Leadless packages. Our dedicated rework technicians are skilled at removing and replacing leadless devices, and reballing the original parts for reuse.
Test and Measurement Equipment
Kodiak Assembly Solutions recognize how crucial it is to test and evaluate electronic assemblies in an accurate and trustworthy manner. Early in the process, assemblies are verified using the Mirtec MV-6 OMNI AOI. Our Takaya APT-8400CJ and Takaya APT-9411CE Flying Probe systems verify the printed circuit board (PCB) and electronic components for accuracy and precision. We offer functional test services (customer supplied FCT hardware) supported by our Test Technicians. Our experienced technicians use these systems to detect defects early in the production process to ensure high-quality, reliable electronic components that meet customer specifications.
